    Participants will be able to both active listeners and participants in this workshop. You are asked to bring along a unit of work that you would like to review in terms of concept based teaching and learning

    By the end of the Program, the participants will be able to

    • Understand the importance of conceptual teaching to deepen learning
    • Understand components of CBTL
    • Review a unit in terms of concept based teaching
    • Consider how you might approach future unit planning in light of CBTL
    • Consider pedagogies that support CBTL
    • Consider opportunities for students to transfer learning
