Generation-Z, (born between 1995 and 2010) aka Gen-Z, Internet Generation or iGen, Nexters, or the Digital Natives - is the first truly digital and global generation that was born into a world with the internet, smartphones, and constant connectivity. As a consequence, they are known to spend more time with digital devices than with humans! Their connect with humans tends to be more ‘virtual’ than ‘real’!

Gen-Z responds differently to the traditional teaching-learning methodologies. Thus it is important to understand the most appropriate ways of delivering effective instructions that are aligned with the learning styles, values and goals. Educators, mentors and counsellors may accordingly embrace some newer methods of teaching, mentoring and counselling that are engaging and relevant to this generation of learners by shifting gears to Education 4.0 and Careers 4.0!

The webinar will provide insights regarding the following:
    • Gen-Z teaching learning premise
    • Gen-Z teaching learning characteristics & styles
    • Gen Z teaching learning strategies
    • Gen Z Career Counselling and Guidance

The Gen-Z students are now joining the workforce and will be leading the world in the next few decades. They will be thriving in careers that don’t exist today!

How career counsellors can guide Gen-Z.
Understanding and becoming familiar with the characteristics and work values of Gen-Z, who tend to be entrepreneurial, passionate, communicative, and collaborative will enable career counsellors to optimize their counselling process in assisting Gen-Z with career guidance.
