“Design Thinking is a way of thinking and working that helps us to define and solve problems. It is a non-linear, interactive and human centred process that helps us to reframe problems as opportunity” - Mandi Dimitriadis
Design Thinking (DT) in education is a learning experience and acquired by the learner as a competency to develop creative and innovate skills. Finding an out of the box solutions energizes the learner to reach the pinnacle of their thinking process.
DT is aimed at the continuous development of professional competence to identify, asses and challenge paradigm shifts. It enhances the learning processes of individuals by how they identify, organize, collaborate, execute and perceive by breaking limitations of their pragmatic experience and thinking. A teacher becomes a reflective professional with a highly positive attitude to cope with learning challenges. Above all, it develops a growth mind set and problem solving, analytical and spatial thinking skills.

The facilitator has an experience of over 7 years of working with MIT USA and Willem De Kooning Academy, Netherlands, which has significantly impacted his perception of learning.
