Managing behaviour in a classroom is an essential part of classroom management. Educators will be able to understand the different dimensions of behaviour and how to decode students' behaviour in this course. The course also introduces different strategies of adopting the whole-school approach, managing online classrooms and inclusion of special needs students in a regular classroom.
In this course, educators will be able to:
1. Understand the whole school approach
2. Identify the dimensions of Behavior(F.I.D)
3. Learn strategies to managing the classroom effectively - offline & online
4. Understand the Theories of Learning 5. Adopt strategies to include children with special needs in the classroom
Archana is a practicing psychologist (specialized in counselling) and a trainer. She is a Governing body member of the Society for Welfare of Children, Kolkata. She has completed her M.Sc. from West Bengal State University and a Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Calcutta. Her research interests include the impact of social media on mental well-being among adolescents and young adults. As part of her research, she has organised campaigns in schools to create awareness on “Ways of limiting screen time”.She chose and trained herself in various psychotherapies- Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Behavior Therapy(BT), and Person-centered therapies. She has experience working in the education sector (across the country) for over 10 years. She connects with all age groups and specializes in dealing with concerns like Childhood concerns, Teenagers, Adolescent and Adult concerns, Anxiety, Adjustment issues, Attention-deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Academic issues, Depression, Interpersonal relationships, and others. She has organised awareness programs for parents, educators and community workers. She has also worked with numerous education institutes to bring psychological insights into management and society.
